Description

A WWII type American B 24 Liberator Night Mission plane model. The B 24 Liberator was an American heavy bomber of World War II, developed by Consolidated Aircraft Corporation. A contract was signed with the US Army on March 30, 1939. The prototype made its first flight on December 29, 1939. The bomber was widely used in the European theater of World War II. The fuselage, conventional in design, had a height that allowed the bomb bay to be equipped with a vertical stowage of up to 3,632 kg of bombs.
